Product Overview
Butyl Fleece Tape is a multi-purpose, self-adhesive waterproofing tape featuring a high-performance butyl rubber adhesive layer combined with a non-woven fleece or polyester fabric facing. It is designed for sealing joints, junctions and transitions in areas exposed to moisture and movement.
The fleece surface allows seamless integration into tile adhesives, renders, plasters and liquid-applied waterproofing systems, forming a flexible, watertight seal that maintains performance over time.
Limitations & Precautions
- Ensure the substrate is clean, stable, and free from dust, oil, grease, and loose materials.
- Best to use a primer before applying the tape for waterproofing.
- Butyl Fleece Tape is not UV stable and must be cooated with a suitable liquid membrane.
