Product Overview

Hydrophilic waterstop strips or water bars are high-performance sealing elements designed to provide active waterproofing of concrete construction joints and interfaces. Manufactured from advanced hydrophilic polymer compounds, these waterstops expand when they come into contact with water, creating pressure against the surrounding concrete and forming a durable, watertight seal.

By reacting automatically to moisture, hydrophilic waterstop strips effectively block water ingress at joints and penetrations, making them ideal for below-ground and water-retaining concrete structures. Their controlled swelling behaviour ensures long-term performance, even under repeated wet–dry cycles.

Hydrophilic Swellable Strips - Rain Protection

Swellable strip that swells with a delay upon contact with rain or moisture. For the first two days, RP swells up to 4x less than the standard strip However, the  RP also develops the desired expansion pressure in concrete water.

Recommended for construction joints in concrete, reinforced concrete, steel and pipelines.
