Product Overview

MERZ MS Polymer sealant is a one-component, moisture-curing elastic sealant based on silyl-modified polymer (SMP) technology. It combines the best properties of polyurethane and silicone with very good UV resistant, making it the preferred sealant for demanding NZ construction environments.

MS Sealant is elastic and is used for sealing dilatation joints in construction. Suitable for sealing gaps in expansion joints in concrete, brick, mortar, plumbing and roofing. MS Sealant is fully paintable.

Recommended Uses

  • Metal and tile roofing, all metal lap joint waterproofing and sealing
  • Can be painted
  • Especially suitable for places, where there is a lot of dilatation and stress
  • Joints in plastic, metal or concrete
  • Weatherproofing caravans and trucks
  • It is useful where joints have to be painted or where silicone sealants are not suitable
  • For dilatation joints in construction, on outer walls, in green-houses or for sealing window frames.
