Product Overview
EPDM pond liners are high-performance geomembranes manufactured from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) synthetic rubber. They are widely used for lining ponds, reservoirs and water containment structures where long-term durability, flexibility and resistance to weathering are critical.
Originally developed for roofing and underground waterproofing applications, EPDM rubber is naturally resistant to UV radiation, ozone, ageing and extreme temperature variations. Its exceptional elasticity allows the membrane to absorb movement, accommodate settlement and adapt to changing site conditions without cracking or tearing. As a result, EPDM pond liners do not require reinforcement or support layers in the base.
EPDM pond liners are suitable for both temporary and permanent water storage, offering a practical and cost-effective solution for water management in civil, agricultural, industrial and environmental projects.

EPDM Pond Liner Packing
EPDM pond liners are a made-to-order product. Standard roll widths are 2m and 3m.
For larger projects, panels can be factory welded up to 15m wide, reducing on-site joins and installation time. Standard roll length is 30m, however shorter lengths such as 10m are available on request.
Custom panel sizes can be ordered to suit your project dimensions, for example a factory-welded 15m x 10m panel or any other configuration up to 15m wide. Please allow lead time for custom and factory-welded orders.

Frequently Asked Questions about EPDM Pond Liners
An EPDM pond liner is a flexible rubber geomembrane used to line ponds, reservoirs and water containment structures. It prevents water loss by forming a durable, watertight barrier.
EPDM pond liners are designed for long-term use and are highly resistant to UV exposure, weathering and ageing. When correctly installed, they provide reliable performance over many years.
Yes. EPDM liners are available in wide sheets and factory-seamed panels, reducing the number of joints required on site. This makes them well suited for large ponds, reservoirs and water storage facilities.
Yes. EPDM remains flexible across a wide temperature range and can absorb stresses caused by expansion, contraction and ground movement without damage.
EPDM liners are commonly used in ponds, aquaculture and fish farming applications. However, for specific uses, testing and approval should be carried out in line with local authority requirements.
